Intro

My name is Spade and I've been an artist for 10+ years and counting! I do my own work, fanart, and commissions for many others out there.I started drawing when I was a small child on MS Paint in the old days and I finally got my first tablet when I was 13. From then on, I've been drawing on Paint Tool Sai, Manga Studio, then full time on Clip Studio Paint!

TERMS OF SERVICE

GENERAL

♠ I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.
♠ Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled if it occurs.
♠ The terms outlined here may vary slightly depending on the type of commission.
♠ MY ART IS TO NOT BE USED FOR AI UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
♠ If my art is uploaded, be sure to credit me @TalesOfSpade.
♠ Communication can be done through X/Twitter or Discord. (talesofspade)
♠ I DO NOT DRAW MECHA, HEAVY GORE, HEAVY VIOLENCE, OR FURRY. (If there are other things I cannot draw, I will communicate that with you in the discussion phase of your commission.)

PAYMENTS

♠ Payment can be split or upfront. Ask about split payments during the discussion phase.
♠ A design fee will be charged for clients with no reference images that would like me to draw solely from a description and/or a collection of photos.
♠ Additional fees will be charged for excessive or major revisions (see “Revisions” below).
♠ The exact prices for the fees described above will be dependent upon the complexity of the commission.
♠ Complex backgrounds will be considered an extra charge.
♠ Rush fee is based on the percentage of time faster than my regular turnaround. Complex characters with higher detail require more time/energy so increase by x%
♠ If you want commercial rights, that will be a 150% price increase.

RIGHTS

REVISIONS

♠ One major revision and multiple minor revisions are allowed in the sketch phase and are covered in the commission price.
♠ A limited amount of minor revisions are allowed in the coloring/painting stage and are covered in the commission price.
♠ Excessive minor revisions to the point that forward progress on the work has halted will incur additional fees.
♠ Revisions due to my own negligence are free.
♠ Additional major revisions will incur additional fees.
♠ It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.

DEADLINES AND DELIVERY

♠ Sketch and subsequent in-progress shots will initially be sent as low-res, watermarked images.
♠ Deadlines must be agreed upon prior to the start of the commission.
♠ Turnaround time to finish a piece can take up to 3 weeks to 3 months. I will communicate if it goes over that.
♠ I will always do my best to complete your commission within a timely manner, but please understand that sometimes life may get in the way and cause a delay in completing your commission. I will notify you as soon as possible of any issues that come up to keep you informed.
♠ I will send over a sketch for approval before continuing the commission. I will accept one complete revision at the sketch stage.

REFUNDS

♠ Once the final product is approved, a refund is not permitted.
♠ Once the process has begun, you cannot ask for a refund.
♠ I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
♠ You may not file a chargeback against me after you have given approval of the artwork.
